This fedora style scoby leather summer hat is inspired by the strong currents of Tofino Inlet.

Natural colour of scoby has kept during drying process to create this chocolate brown base and then tanned with natural wax medium to obtain the biodegrablity.

Beside linen lace and recycled rabbit fur, a third eye brooch attached to the hat with some new and some recycled chains. The third eye brooch made from Channelled Top Snail aka. Calliostoma canaliculatum covered with scoby which has dyed with recycled- plastic- free ink before drying.

Recruited silk is used for lining. Cork sweatband is attached to the leather with eco friendly leather glue. 

Inks and glue leather has used in creation of this hat contain ingredients know as 'Not readily Biodegradable'.
